2025 SCIA Council Member Sir William Blair Scholarship Established

3VB is pleased to share news of the establishment of the 2025 SCIA Council Member Sir William Blair Scholarship, an initiative with the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration to promote further exchanges and co-operation between China and the UK in the field of international arbitration, and to encourage young legal academics and professionals to pursue further studies or research in the other country.

There are two scholarships of £10,000 each for persons with a strong interest in arbitration, with one successful applicant from the UK to China, and the other from China to the UK. The scholarship will not make any of the arrangements, but it will provide some financial support for the successful applicants for activities of their choosing.  SCIA has also kindly offered the opportunity to the successful applicants to intern at SCIA or SCIA HK.
