Practice Overview
Dennis joined Chambers as a pupil in September 2026.
Before commencing his pupillage, Dennis practised as an advocate and solicitor in Singapore and worked for two years as a justices’ law clerk at the Supreme Court of Singapore. Dennis specialised in commercial disputes. He has experience handling banking and finance, joint venture, energy, mining, sanctions, and employment disputes, amongst others. He has appeared before the Singapore courts and in arbitrations under SIAC and UNCITRAL rules.
Dennis holds a Juris Doctor (summa cum laude) from Singapore Management University (SMU), graduating joint-top of his class. An avid mooter, he won the International Criminal Court moot and the Price Media Law moot as a student at SMU. He also won the Essex Court Chambers-Singapore Academy of Law moot for junior practitioners.
Dennis has experience teaching in various capacities. Most recently, he taught the law of evidence to candidates sitting for Part A of the Singapore Bar examinations.
Dennis has a working knowledge of Mandarin, having taken instructions and given advice in the language.
