Vasujith joined Chambers as a pupil in September 2026.
Before commencing pupillage, Vasujith spent five years as an Associate in the London office of Milbank LLP, practising in its market-leading leveraged finance and capital markets team. He advised clients on a wide range of complex financing transactions, including high-yield debt offerings and acquisition financings. He also gained substantial experience with sophisticated capital structures, working on several innovative financial restructuring and special situations transactions.
Prior to this, Vasujith worked for two years as an Associate at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, a leading Indian law firm, where he advised on private equity, venture capital, and M&A transactions.
Vasujith holds a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School and a dual Bachelor of Law and Arts (Honours) from the National University of Juridical Sciences, Calcutta (NUJS). He received academic prizes for Direct Taxation and Media & Entertainment Law at NUJS.
Vasujith has co-edited a book on the Supreme Court of India and published articles on courts, public law, and taxation. His work has been cited by the Supreme Court of India.
