Can Yeginsu and Attila M. Tanzi will each be chairing a panel at the upcoming 44th Investment Treaty Forum Public Conference (ITF). Hosted by the British Institute of International and Comparative Law (BIICL), the conference will take place on 10 October 2025 in London.

This year’s ITF Public Conference is entitled “Evolving Standards of Investment Protection: Recent Developments and New Trends” and will bring together leading senior practitioners, arbitrators, academics and other experts to offer a comprehensive examination of recent cases, treaties, and broader developments that impact investment protection policies and practices.

Professor Yeginsu will chair the first panel of the day on overall recent trends in treaties and cases, with contributions on differences between old and new generation treaties, key ISDS developments, and admission and national security issues. He is joined by Joachim Pohl (OECD, Paris), Diana Rosert (UNCTAD, Geneva), and Markus Burgstaller (Hogan Lovells, London).

The panel chaired by Professor Tanzi will cover treatment regimes, expropriation and ESG considerations. He is joined by Robert Hunter (Osborne Clarke, Frankfurt am Main), Inga Martinkute (Vilnius University, Vilnius), and Anna Kirkpatrick (Clifford Chance, London).
