Can Yeginsu to chair and Nicholas Craig KC to speak at GAR Live: Istanbul 2023
On Thursday 22nd June, Can Yeginsu will be chairing and Nicholas Craig K.C. will be speaking at the GAR Live: Istanbul 2023 Conference at the Çırağan Palace in Istanbul.
The event will bring together arbitration counsel, arbitrators, general counsel, and experts. On the programme will be:
- A session on enforcement of arbitral awards
- The Keynote Address by Patrick Pearsall of Allen & Overy entitled “An Invitation”
- A session on international arbitration in an era of heightened hostility and sanctions
- The Istanbul Fireside Chat
The event will also feature an interactive session: The GAR Live Symposium, where delegates will have the opportunity to submit questions on international commercial, construction, and investment arbitration, whereupon expert moderators and members of the audience will respond.

The Main Conference will be followed by the second edition of the GAR Live Istanbul The Future Leaders in Arbitration Symposium – an event aimed at the under 40s, and brought at the initiative of Can Yeginsu and GAR Live as a platform for younger practitioners in the jurisdiction.
This year GAR will be pledging 10% of its profits from this year’s conference to TEV’s Natural Disaster Relief Scholarship, a charitable fund specifically established by TEV for students directly affected by the two catastrophic earthquakes of February 2023.
