David Simpson chaired a panel discussion at Astana Finance Days, Kazakhstan

David Simpson chaired a panel discussion on: ‘Corporate Law of the AIFC: Flexbility, Governance and Investor Confidence’ at the Astana Finance Days (AFD) conference in Kazakhstan this week.

David has been involved in the creation and development of the Astana International Financial Centre since 2018 and led the drafting of much of the framework legislation.

He has twenty years’ experience in setting up IFCs and has advised on a large number of projects around the world.

The region’s flagship financial forum, AFD convenes top decision-makers to accelerate investment, strengthen markets, and unlock new business opportunities across Eurasia. The conference is hosted by Astana International Financial Centre and takes place annually in Kazakhstan.
