Book Launch: Issues in the Law of Rescission
3VB is delighted to host the launch of Issues in the Law of Rescission, edited by Jordan English (3VB Associate Member, Associate Professor of Law, University of Oxford) and Jonas Atmaz Al-Sibaie (Shaw Foundation Junior Research Fellow in Law, Jesus College, University of Oxford). Bringing together leading private law scholars, the book examines some of the most significant theoretical and practical questions in the law of rescission, offering fresh perspectives on an area of enduring importance to commercial and private law.
The evening will feature a presentation of the book, followed by a panel discussion with Professor Robert Stevens, Professor Ben McFarlane and Dr Magda Raczynska. Together, they will explore some of the book’s key themes, including the theoretical foundations of rescission, its practical application in commercial disputes and its continuing development in modern private law.
