Farhaz Khan appointed Queen’s Counsel
The Ministry of Justice has published the list of appointments in the 2021 Queen’s Counsel Competition. Members of 3VB warmly congratulate Farhaz Khan, who will be sworn in as Queen’s Counsel in 2022.
Called in 2005, Farhaz has a practice spanning complex commercial litigation, arbitration and regulatory investigations, with a particular focus on matters in banking, financial services, and pensions. He is recognised as, “A real superstar in the banking litigation world” in Chambers & Partners 2022 directory, has previously been featured as The Lawyer’s ‘Barrister of the Week’, and is top-ranked in The Legal 500 EMEA guide in recognition of his international commercial work.
The award of Queen’s Counsel is for excellence in advocacy in the higher courts. It is made to advocates who have rights of audience in the higher courts of England and Wales and have demonstrated the competencies in the Competency Framework to a standard of excellence.
