Hefin Rees QC Speaking at Asia Pacific Regional Arbitration Group Conference

Hefin Rees QC is speaking this week at the Asia Pacific Regional Arbitration Group (APRAG) Conference, being held on 15 to 17 January in Bangkok, Thailand.

Hefin will speaking about the UK Arbitration Act 1996 and how it could be amended to be more effective and modern to reflect recent changes in arbitration practice.

The panel discussion on which Hefin is speaking will also be looking at how other jurisdictions have passed supportive legislation for arbitration throughout the Asia Pacific Region, including Singapore, Hong Kong and Beijing. Further information can be found here.
