Ian McDonald appointed to IBA Committee
Ian McDonald has been appointed to the IBA Human Rights Law Committee for the term 1st January 2024 – 31st December 2025.
The Committee aims to promote human rights in all areas of the legal profession, as well as in the broader community. One of its present priorities is helping companies to advance corporate social responsibility principles, as set out in the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
Ian has a strong interest in international human rights law, as part of his broader public international law practice. He is routinely instructed in applications to the European Court of Human Rights and Special Procedures of the UN Human Rights Council.
