Philip Hinks and Timothy Killen appointed King’s Counsel
3VB is delighted to announce that Philip Hinks and Timothy Killen have been appointed as King’s Counsel in the latest round of honours approved by His Majesty The King.
Called in 2008, Philip is recognised for his expertise in high-value, complex commercial and civil fraud disputes, financial services, and insolvency matters. He regularly appears in major domestic and international litigation, and has been consistently praised in leading legal directories for his forensic advocacy and strategic insight.
Timothy, who joined 3VB in 2025, specialises in commercial disputes and international arbitration. Tim’s practice spans insurance and reinsurance, financial services, energy, and construction sectors, and he is widely recognised in the legal directories for his exceptional commercial law knowledge and international litigation experience.
3VB warmly congratulates Philip and Tim on this significant achievement. The appointments will take effect following the official ceremony on 23 March.
