Stavros Brekoulakis awarded best lecture at GAR 2020 Awards
Associate member Stavros Brekoulakis has been awarded as this year’s ‘Best Lecture or Speech’ at the Global Arbitration Review Awards 2020.
Stavros won the award for the 2019 Roebuck Lecture on “The Unwavering Policy Favouring Arbitration under English Law”, which he delivered on 13 June 2019 for the CIArb. In his speech, he reviewed the development of arbitration practice in England giving context to current debates on the legitimacy of arbitration and offering insight into the future of the practice.
