3VB named Banking Set of the Year at Chambers UK Bar Awards 2023

3VB is honoured to have won ‘Banking Set of the Year’ at the Chambers & Partners UK Bar Awards 2023, which took place on 30th November at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London.

Joint head of Chambers, Ewan McQuater KC, collected the award for ‘Banking Silk of the Year’, and Can Yeginsu was awarded ‘International Arbitration Junior of the Year’.

Ewan has an outstanding reputation as a highly versatile commercial silk with a well-established practice in banking and finance disputes. Ranked in Band 1 in the Chambers UK Bar guide 2024, he is described as a “‘go to’ silk for heavyweight cases; hugely experienced in complex trial cases; very strategic and strong in court.”

Can is ranked in Band 1 for International Arbitration in the Chambers & Partners UK Bar Guide 2024. He is highly experienced in disputes relating to conflicts of law and jurisdiction, and has extensive expertise in investor-state arbitration. Can is described in the latest guide as “a gifted advocate, who commands the room and is persuasive with every point he presents.”
