3 Verulam Buildings has today confirmed that Farhaz Khan will join the set later this month from Outer Temple Chambers.  Khan is regarded as one of the foremost junior barristers in Financial Services as well as being ranked by the legal directories as a leading junior at the London Bar in Pensions, Banking & Finance, Chancery – Commercial, and Commercial Dispute Resolution; he is also listed by The Legal 500 as one of the leading junior English barristers in commercial law in the United Arab Emirates.

In a joint statement, 3VB’s Heads of Chambers, Ewan McQuater QC and Adrian Beltrami QC, said: “Farhaz is a self-motivated, energetic and successful barrister, who is very well regarded in the market.  Coming soon after our recent recruitment of a silk and four other juniors, and our decision this month to take on as tenants all three of our exceptional pupils, we are really delighted that Farhaz will be joining us.”

Farhaz Khan said: “I am proud of what we achieved at OTC over the last decade or so in developing commercial and regulatory work, but when the opportunity to join 3VB arose, it was not one I could turn down. 3VB is one of the elite commercial sets and a very good fit with my own areas of practice, in particular banking, financial services and commercial litigation. 3VB also provides an excellent platform to continue to develop my pensions and international practice. I look forward to joining what is an exceptional team of silks and juniors, and clerks. I leave behind many friends at OTC, and wish them all the best.”
