3VB Supports Bar Benevolent Association COVID-19 Appeal

Some sections of the Bar have been severely shaken by the impact of the current emergency. Some Chambers are facing closure and many barristers, particularly at the publicly-funded Bar, are suffering considerable personal hardship.

The Bar Benevolent Association has, with the four Inns of Court, launched the COVID-19 Emergency Fund Appeal to provide support for those barristers unable to support themselves and their families as well as those many members of the Bar who now find themselves in an extraordinarily difficult position through no fault of their own.

3VB is supporting this Appeal by making a significant contribution and has encouraged its members to make regular ongoing contributions.

3VB continues to support financially and with volunteering other charities such as Advocate and the Free Representation Unit, during this time.
