Brian King joins 3VB

Brian King, an acclaimed “global player” in commercial and investment arbitration, has joined 3 Verulam Buildings as an Associate Member on retiring from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.  Until the end of last year, Brian was a senior partner in Freshfields’ international arbitration group, where he practised for twenty years.

3VB’s Heads of Chambers, Ewan McQuater QC and Adrian Beltrami QC, said in a joint statement: “Brian King is a top-rate international arbitration practitioner, with a fully deserved reputation gained in some of the largest investment treaty and commercial cases of recent years.  He has huge international expertise and experience, and will be a perfect fit for 3VB’s substantial and growing offering in international arbitration.
