Chloë Bell to speak at The Law Society’s Commercial Litigation Annual Conference 2022

Chloë Bell will be speaking at The Law Society’s virtual Commercial Litigation Annual Conference 2022, which will take place on Wednesday 7 September.

This year’s conference will focus on the recent developments in the areas of the Hague 2019 Judgements Convention, ESG (Environmental, social and governance) litigation impacts, witness statements and digital assets. The event will provide key updates and practical information relating to those topics.

Chloë will be joining one of the panel sessions, where the speakers will explore what a digital asset is, how they are recognised by English law, what regulation exists to protect consumers or otherwise, and what interesting matters they have seen from this new asset class. The panelists will also look at recent cases and provide practical advice to help advise clients on how to deal with/treat them. Charlotte Hill, Senior Associate at Penningtons Manches Cooper LLP will be chairing this session and Akber Datoo, Founder and CEO of D2 Legal Technology will be speaking alongside Chloë.
