Commercial Breakfast Forum: Section 423 of the Insolvency Act 1986: a primer for the commercial litigator

Matthew Parker KC and William Edwards will give a brief introduction to section 423 of the Insolvency Act 1986, which enables the court to reverse transactions defrauding creditors on the application of a victim of the transaction, including the conditions which must be satisfied in order for any order to be made under that section, the cross-border jurisdiction of the English court, practical issues when pursuing such an application, and the relief the court may grant if an application succeeds.
