Stephenson Harwood & 3VB Panel Discussion – Art Fraud and Fraudsters

Stephenson Harwood and 3VB are pleased to invite you to this panel discussion on fraud and fraudsters in the world of art and cultural property – “All is not as it seems – Art fraud and fraudsters”.

With focus on recent scandals – and the people and practices that have become by-words for what can go wrong in deals of low and high value.

The panel will look at aspects of the art market which some see as aiding the crooked and discuss how the Courts handle the always messy disputes – often between the innocent.  This will include considering the role of auction houses and other intermediaries.

Our panellists will bring their expertise to bear on these topical subjects, with an audience of legal and other professionals from across the art world.  Lively discussion is the aim, and contributions from the floor will be encouraged – to be followed by drinks and canapes, over which the discussion can continue.
