Four New Tenants for 3VB

Members of 3VB are delighted to announce that the four current pupils, Catherine Drummond, Lucas Jones, Maud Mullan and Diana-Andreea Stoean, will commence practice as full tenants at the conclusion of their pupillages at the beginning of October.

Catherine was previously in private practice, having worked for a number of years in public international law and international arbitration, including at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in Paris. She has acted as counsel in multiple cases before the International Court of Justice, the European Court of Human Rights, the International Criminal Court, United Nations treaty bodies and international arbitration tribunals.

Lucas graduated with a Double First in Classics from Magdalen College, Oxford. Before pupillage, he worked as a Judicial Assistant in the Court of Appeal, assigned to the Chancellor of the High Court. In that role, he gained experience in a wide variety of commercial disputes.

Maud studied Classics, graduating with a BA (first class) and an MSt (distinction) from Brasenose College, University of Oxford. She then completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Bar Vocational Studies at City Law School, receiving a Princess Royal Scholarship and a Major Scholarship from the Inner Temple.

Diana holds a Bachelor of Laws from University College London (First Class Honours) and a Master of Laws from the London School of Economics (Distinction). Prior to coming to the Bar, Diana worked as a research assistant on the Law Commission’s digital assets project. She was previously a judicial assistant to Lord Justice Floyd and Lady Justice Andrews in the Court of Appeal.

Members of Chambers warmly congratulate all four pupils on their offers of tenancy and look forward to welcoming them as full members on 1 October.
