Members of 3VB participate in The inaugural Koç University Law School Investment Arbitration Day

On Friday 24 June, a host of members of 3VB were delighted to participate at The Koç University Law School’s Investment Arbitration Day in Istanbul, Turkey.

Can Yeginsu, Visiting Professor of International Law at Koç University Law School and convener of the Arbitration Day, gave the welcome address and later participated in a conversation with special guest, the Lord Neuberger of Abbotsbury (President of the UK Supreme Court, 2012-2017).

Cameron Miles followed Can’s opening remarks with an academic lecture entitled ‘Lawfare in Crimea: Treaty, Territory and Investor-State Dispute Settlement’.

Ali Malek QC chaired the session on ‘Investor State Dispute Settlement: Past, Present and Future?’, alongside members Christopher Harris QC and Tariq Baloch who participated as speakers.
