Sophie Nappert wins Global Arbitration Review Award

Sophie Nappert of 3VB won the prize at this week’s GAR Awards in Shanghai for “best lecture”, the inaugural lecture of the European Federation for Investment Law and Arbitration, delivered in London in November 2015.

Nappert, GAR’s first female winner in this category – spoke about the European Commission’s proposal for an EU investment court, warning that it would be a departure from the “freedom and flexibility” of investor-state arbitration and the New York Convention.
