Launched in 2022, the annual 3VB/QM Lecture is designed to focus on advanced thinking in the field of international dispute resolution. Its distinguishing feature is to provide a platform for a younger generation of leaders in the field who are already producing some of the most exciting work in the field. The subject matter is not limited in any way and encompasses everything from international arbitration to public and private international law and includes interdisciplinary approaches that seek to provide insight into international dispute resolution.

Professor Zachary Douglas KC was awarded ‘Best Lecture or Speech’ at the Global Arbitration Review Awards 2023 for the outstanding delivery of his keynote speech “Instead of Principles, Slogans” at the inaugural 3VB/QM Arbitration Lecture in 2022.
