UKJT Legal Statement on Digital Assets and English Insolvency Law published

On 24 April 2024, the UK Jurisdiction Taskforce, chaired by Sir Geoffrey Vos MR, launched its third Statement, this time on Digital Assets and English Insolvency Law. The Legal Statement represents a further significant milestone in establishing the value and effectiveness of English law in regulating cryptocurrency and related digital trading technology. It follows two previous Legal Statements on Cryptoassets and Smart Contract and on the Issuance and Transfer of Digital Securities.
