William Day to co-present a COMBAR talk on Fraud in private international law

On Wednesday 5 April, William Day will be co-presenting a COMBAR talk with Professor Louise Merrett, Barrister at Fountain Court Chambers, on “Fraud in private international law”.

The speakers will examine the extent to which civil fraud is treated as a ‘thing apart’ in the conflict of laws, and, if so, the extent to which those rules are fit for purpose. The lecture will consider jurisdiction, forum agreements, governing law, and foreign judgments.

The hybrid talk will take place at the Ashworth Centre in Lincoln’s Inn from 5.45pm – 6.45pm.
