William Edwards appointed King’s Counsel

The Lord Chancellor has today announced the list of new appointments in the 2024 King’s Counsel Competition. Members of 3VB warmly congratulate William Edwards, who will be sworn in as King’s Counsel on Monday 24th March 2025.

Called in 2002, William’s expertise spans a wide range of commercial, finance and business disputes, frequently with an international aspect. He has particular expertise at the intersection of banking, insolvency, and civil fraud.

The award of King’s Counsel is for excellence in advocacy in the higher courts. It is made to advocates who have rights of audience in the higher courts of England and Wales and have demonstrated the competencies in the Competency Framework to a standard of excellence.
