Commercial Breakfast Forum: Close but no CIGA: the new moratorium procedure

Jamie Riley KC and William Day will provide an overview of the standalone corporate moratorium process introduced by the Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020; the findings and recommendations of post-implementation reviews; and case law to date.

The talk will identify key points for debtor and creditor counsel to focus on during potentially contested moratoria, and horizon scan for the issues which are likely to require argument before the courts in the near future.
