Natalie Reid joins 3VB
3 Verulam Buildings is delighted to announce that Natalie Reid has joined Chambers as an Associate Member.
Natalie is a highly regarded international disputes lawyer with extensive experience in international arbitration, public international law and complex commercial disputes. Before joining 3VB, she was a partner in the International Dispute Resolution Group at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, and co-chair of the firm’s Public International Law Group and Caribbean practice.
Natalie has a truly international practice, advising and representing multinational corporations, sovereign States, international organisations and non-governmental organisations in proceedings before international courts and tribunals, as well as before the US courts. She has acted as lead counsel in commercial, investment treaty, and inter-State arbitrations and also sits as an arbitrator.
At 3VB Natalie will accept appointments as arbitrator in commercial and investor-state arbitrations, while continuing work as counsel in public international law matters before regional and international courts.
Natalie is a member of the ICC Court of Arbitration, a Board Member of the LCIA, and Vice Chair of the Institute for Transnational Arbitration. She has served as President of the LCIA North American Users’ Council and a Counsellor of the American Society of International Law. She is also a frequent speaker and lecturer on international law and international disputes, including at Yale Law School, Columbia Law School, New York University School of Law and the University of Michigan Law School.
Natalie is consistently recognised by the leading legal directories. Chambers & Partners lists her as one of a handful of Global Market Leaders for Public International Law and International Law, while The Legal 500 US recommends her as a Leading Lawyer and Lexology Index recognises her as a Thought Leader for International Arbitration.
