Stuart commenced employment as a clerk over 30 years ago at 4 Essex Court, the Chambers of Gordon Pollock QC (now Essex Court Chambers) before moving to the chambers of Anthony Scrivener QC at 2-3 Grays’ Inn Square (now Cornerstone) where he became Deputy Senior Clerk. He joined 3 Verulam Buildings in 2012, and became joint Senior Practice Manager in 2017 and Director of Clerking in 2025. He works as part of the Senior Management of Chambers regarding Chambers’ strategic planning and business development.
