Thomas C. Baxter joins 3VB as Associate Member and IADRU Member

Members of 3VB are pleased to announce that Thomas C. Baxter has joined Chambers as an Associate Member.

Thomas is an experienced banking lawyer with a practice focused on advising clients in the financial services, insurance, securities and FinTech sectors. He has extensive experience in complex issues arising from supervision and regulation, investigations and enforcement actions, governance, compliance and risk management.

Thomas will also form part of 3VB’s IADRU team.

He is a member of the American Bar Association and the International Law Association. Formerly, Thomas was Counsel at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP and prior to that, he was General Counsel and Executive Vice President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

Thomas said: “I am delighted to join the IADRU team as an Associate Member. I have worked with members of the team on a host of different matters, and I know from experience their amazing talents. I expect my long history in central banking and financial services will be very helpful with the LIBOR transition and the many challenges arising from sovereign debt and look forward to making a substantial contribution to IADRU’s work.”
