Book Launch: “The Law of the AIFC” authored by Michael Blair QC

Michael Blair KC will be launching his book “The Law of the AIFC” during the annual Astana Finance Days event, which will be held virtually from 1 to 3 July 2021.

Michael is the Chairman of the Legal Advisory Council of Astana International Financial Centre, where the special legal regime based on the Law of England and Wales was established. The book describes a brief history of the formation of the AIFC Jurisdiction and reasons for the choice of English common law as the basis for the AIFC Law, as well as its advantages and application in practice by enterprises.
