Can Yeginsu and Cameron Miles contribute to General International Law in International Investment Law: A Commentary

Oxford University Press have published the first commentary on general international law in international investment law, edited by Andreas Kulick and Michael Waibel.

General International Law in International Investment Law: A Commentary covers a range of sources of general international law and includes a systematic examination of the most relevant treaties. It provides easy access to doctrinal and practical questions of general international law as they have arisen or may arise in international investment law.

3VB’s Can Yeginsu and Cameron Miles were two of the contributing authors to the text, among a host of highly reputed authors from both practice and academia. In Part I: Law of Treaties (VCLT), Can wrote a chapter with Patrick Pearsall of Allen & Overy, on Pacta sunt servanda. Under Part IV: Substantive and Procedural Aspects of General International Law in International Investment Law, Cameron authored the chapter on Cross-cutting procedural powers of international courts and tribunals.

The Commentary’s forty-six chapters will serve as a central guide for all relevant case law and scholarship on international investment law.
